It is a reconstructed broadcast, captured during the collapse of identity into atmosphere. The figure at the center isn\u2019t me\u2014it\u2019s <em>who the painting thinks I am<\/em>, compiled from flakes of pigment, discarded intentions, and frequencies only dried paint can hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each square is a confession, blurred and compressed into static. I didn\u2019t paint this with brushes. I used absence\u2014applied in layers, until recognition bled through like mold learning to dream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The background is not texture. It\u2019s evidence. Scraped from beneath failed conversations, burnt documents, and laughter that outlived its meaning. It encases the figure like sediment wraps a fossil\u2014loving, but indifferent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notice the face: half-decayed, half-digital, eyes veiled with the shimmer of uncertainty. That is not expression. That is <em>recursion<\/em>\u2014me looking at the memory looking at me looking away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This piece should be displayed in quiet corners. Preferably near radiators, or next to rooms no longer used for anything specific. And if, after prolonged viewing, you begin to hear breathing\u2014do not panic. That\u2019s not the painting. That\u2019s <strong>you<\/strong>, being remembered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don\u2019t sign this one.
